You should use whatever gift you have received from the Lord to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.  - 1 Peter 4:10

You should use whatever gift you have received from the Lord to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.

- Ephesians 1:17

Did you know that God has given you specific gifts that He wants you to use to serve Him?

Sometimes it is easy to recognize our gifts because they are more outward centered, like leadership, teaching, speaking, or serving.

Other times, our gifts might be less obvious, like mercy, encouragement and giving.

Each of our gifts should be used to minister to one another and honor God.

Peter tells us that we shouldn’t keep our gifts to ourselves because when we use them to help others, then people see Jesus in us. Matthew 5:16, says, “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”

How are you bringing praise to God today?

Are you using your gifts for Him?

If you aren’t sure what your gifts are, take a moment in prayer and ask Him to reveal your gifts to you and to empower you to use those gifts to faithfully serve Him and others.

With Love,
Paper Sunday
