- 2 Corinthians 3:17

When we have the Holy Spirit ruling in our hearts, there is freedom!

When Jesus ascended, the Holy Spirit came down in His place.

The Holy Spirit is our constant companion who will never leave us. He is our comforter, counselor and best friend.

As we walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh, the Holy Spirit is able to operate and guide us in our lives.

When we allow Him to speak, flow and rule in truth in our lives, that is when we experience great freedom!

Is there an area of your life that needs freedom?
Is there an area that you have not fully surrendered to the Lord?

Whenever there’s an area of our lives where we have struggled in repeatedly and tried to solve it in our own strength, we need to ask ourselves: “Have I made the Holy Spirit Lord over that area? Or have I held on to it myself?”

Whatever burdens, addictions, struggles, and issues we deal with, the Holy Spirit wants to help us and be Lord over those areas so that we can access the freedom He wants us to experience.

When we do this in full surrender and yield to His Lordship instead of our own sinful nature, then that is when we will experience His true freedom!

As a child of God, remember that you have already been redeemed and set free. Refuse to believe the lie that you must “earn” your way to freedom and perform in order to receive what God has already bought for you.

Today, if there’s an area you need healing, take time to come to the Lord and ask the Holy Spirit to rule in that area. He is waiting for you with open arms, ready to set you free!

With Love,
Paper Sunday
