- Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

God did not design you to be alone and isolated. He created you to be in fellowship and relationship!

We can see the first example of this in Genesis after the creation of Adam. God said it himself, “It is not good for man to be alone.” Thus, Eve was born!

If we isolate ourselves, we miss out on the blessings God designed us to receive through fellowship with others.

There is great joy to be found in friends and loved ones. We get to laugh with them, cry with them, celebrate and confide in them.

If we fail and fall down, there is a friend there to help us back up. When we reach an important milestone or goal, there are friends to congratulate us.

How can you reach out to someone else and be a friend to those in need? Who needs encouragement or companionship today?

Today, as you thank the Lord for those He’s placed in your life, be reminded that you’re never alone with His constant presence. Feel His nearness today as He draws you close to His heart.

“Lord, thank you for blessing me with friends and loved ones who also love you! Help me to never take their fellowship for granted and always value the blessing they are.”

With Love,
Sarah Sherstad
