Come to me today expecting good things.
I am for you and with you. I am your strength and your defense. In me, you can find hope. My love and compassion for you overflow as I desire to lavish you with my blessings.
While you may have never experienced love in healthy ways, I am always good and desire to give you my steadfast abiding love. My character is unchangeable.
Remember to draw near to me, and let me infuse your entire spirit with my abiding peace. Sit quietly before me, remembering that I know everything. I see what is happening to you. Like a proud parent, I rejoice with you when you have an accomplishment and a happy day. I also grieve with you over your hurt and pain, collecting each of your tears in a bottle.
I am your heavenly Father, and I have unlimited resources. Remember to shift your focus from earthly things to those in the heavenly realm. The things on this earth are temporary. Eventually, all the difficulty and pain will be behind you as you live eternally with me.
Prayer: Thank you, Jesus, for being strong when I am weak. Please help me remember that you are my portion for today and forever. Amen.
