I will never desert you, nor will I forsake or let you down or relax my hold on you.
- Hebrews 13:5
What is Hebrews 13 about?
Is it about loneliness, isolation or being stranded?
No, Hebrews 13 is about the love of money.
The love of money causes not only a separation from what God has for us, but brings feelings of inferiority, superiority, work addiction and a false sense of security.
He wants you to know He will be there through thick and thin; He is faithful and reliable.
God is the safe place no earthly thing could ever provide.
Today: God wants to be your security, your sense of stability and peace.
So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently say, The Lord is my Helper and I will not be afraid. (Hebrews 13:6)
