Daily Devotional • Isaiah 41:10

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.  - Isaiah 41:10

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

- Isaiah 41:10

Did you know it is never too late to return to God?

Did you trust Christ as a young child, not fully understanding what it meant to follow Jesus?

Or, perhaps you put your trust in Him later in life and fell away due to feelings of hopelessness, discouragement or ongoing sin.

Maybe, you have experienced significant loss or have been hurt deeply by someone causing you to doubt Christ because of your pain.

You may even be thinking, “If Jesus loves me, why did He allow this to happen to me?”

Whatever your reasons for turning from Christ, it is never too late to return to Him.

God loves you and welcomes you back.

There is hope and healing in Him. (John 16:22) He wants you to know that He grieves over the hurt you have experienced, and He wants to comfort and walk through your pain with you. (Isaiah 41:10)

True salvation begins with repentance, turning from sin, and depending only on Jesus instead of yourself or someone else.

Acts 16:31 tells us that all we have to do is believe on the Lord Jesus, and we will be saved. As a believer returning to Jesus, you are already God’s child.

Now you are to walk with Him in spirit and truth, turning from the sin in your life. Isaiah 30:15.

Prayer: Dear Jesus, please help me to turn from the wrong I do and trust you and your ways. Guide my life and direct my path. Amen.

With Love,
Sherry Shepherd
