Daily Devotional • Galatians 5:25 Reading Daily Devotional • Isaiah 41:13 2 minutes

For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’

- Isaiah 41:13

Each morning when you wake, do not long for the absence of problems. Do not let yourself become frustrated when you face trouble in this fallen world.

Instead, make it a habit to immediately acknowledge the Lord when you wake. Tell Him good morning, how much you love Him, and thank Him for helping you through your day.

If you choose to look to Him for stability throughout your day, you will never have to worry about getting things done in your own strength.

You won’t have to dread facing problems alone, because He promises to go with you and before you.

Try to view problems as exercises that are refining your spiritual trust-muscles.

The more you make it a habit to lean on the Lord in the midst of obstacles, the more you become transformed for His glory to be a lighthouse in the world.

Today, ask the Lord to equip you for whatever obstacles you may face. The best tools we could ever have when we take on the world come from Him. His presence is the ultimate companion, as unlike earthly people, the Lord promises to never let go of your hand.

With Love,
Sarah Sherstad
