For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

- Jeremiah 29:11 ESV

Our lives are bombarded with bad news and negativity that can grind away at our hope.

The barrage of negativity permeates our screens and invades our soul.

The social media craze feeds this and provides access to information that overwhelms our life.

Abraham Miller eloquently coined these words; "a man begins to die when he ceases to expect anything from tomorrow.”

When we lose hope for tomorrow, we lose the joy of living…

I have good news; there is genuine hope available for everyone!

The hope of the Christian is known as ANCHORED HOPE.

Anchored hope is connected to our Creator and His Son, Jesus Christ.

The Bible says it this way - "This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, sure and steadfast."

So, God's hope is sure and steadfast.

Now hope does not disappoint because the love of God has been poured out into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, who was given to us. (Romans 5:4, NIV)

Biblical hope is connected to the love of God, and the Holy Spirit keeps God's love anchored in our hearts.

If you are searching for hope, look to God.

Hope BEGINS with Jesus Christ.

Receive him today!

Prayer
Thank You for Your unchanging love for us, that You would send your only Son to die for our sins and give us eternal life. I know that I am a sinner and I know that I need a Savior. I confess my sins and I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He was risen from the dead. The Bible says, “If I call upon the name of the Lord, I will be saved.” I am calling, Jesus and thank You for receiving me into your Kingdom. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Blessings,
Thomas
