God knows your name!

He not only knows your name, but knows everything about you.

The number of hairs on your head, your personality, your likes, dislikes, dreams and passions.

You are not a mere statistic or random number among the sea of His creation.

His involvement in your life is so much more personal than you can even comprehend!

Remember that the Lord is also your Shepherd. He is the one who guides your path and leads you out. He is your protector, your defender, your best friend and beloved. And He calls you by name. He knows you better than you know yourself!

When you read the word, look for the ways God speaks to you personally through it.

Just because your name may not be ingrained in ink on the paper in each verse doesn’t mean that it’s not meant for you.

The life-giving truth, freedom, love, joy, strength, peace, wisdom and fulfillment within those holy scriptures is meant for you and calling out to you!

Today, be reminded that your Shepherd knows your name, and hear Him calling out to you in the depths of your heart!
