Know Jesus, Know peace. No Jesus, No peace.

Peace comes from the Lord.

No amount of money, no amount of fame, and none of life’s pleasures can ultimately bring peace.

It’s why so many people who seem fulfilled, successful and prosperous on the outside are broken and dying on the inside. They have everything they could ever want from a worldly perspective, but they’re lacking peace. It’s a void that can never be filled with anything except Jesus.

We know that we live in a sinful, fallen world, but Jesus has overcome it. He came to make us new. To give us peace. To make us whole. We know that he will be with us eternally. Nothing can separate us from that love. Knowing this brings us peace. Knowing His promise that he will never leave us nor forsake us is a peace like no other.

You can’t have peace without the Prince of Peace!

Father, I thank you that you are my peace. When life is trying. When I feel like I won’t make it through the day, I will be of good cheer knowing that you have overcome the world. You have overcome every situation I will ever face. I will remain in your perfect peace. Thank you for loving me and giving your life for me that I may spend eternity with you. I will be of good cheer.
