The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning.

During a month centered around romantic love, you may be struggling.

Are you single, divorced, or widowed?

Do you feel alone and lonely even though you are in a relationship?

Maybe the person you spent your life with has died or left you for someone else, and the pain is more than you can bear.

Whatever your circumstance, God wants you to know He is with you and will never leave you. His love is boundless, and His mercies are new every morning.

It may feel like you can’t even think about tomorrow. You are struggling to just get through the next hour or minute. Whatever it is you are facing, God is available to you. Daily trusting in His faithfulness grows our trust in Him for future promises.

God wants to help, be with, comfort, and direct you. The Bible is chock-full of His promises to you. We are told in these verses in Lamentations that God’s love never ceases.

Can you imagine that? It never stops. His mercies for you never come to an end. They are new every single morning. So today, whatever you woke up feeling weighed down by, God is ready and waiting to renew your spirit.

Prayer: Dear Jesus, please heal my broken and lonely heart. Be near to me and show me your love and care. Amen.
