My child, don’t reject the Lord’s discipline, and don’t be upset when he corrects you.

A good Father corrects their children. Sometimes, when the Lord corrects us, that correcting can be painful or difficult.

We know in our heart that we made a mistake and He gives us an opportunity to make it right.

Making the situation right might mean swallowing our pride and admitting fault. But, in every situation there is a lesson.

How do we take correction from God?

We take correction by humbling ourselves.

When we humble ourselves, the Lord will lift us up.

Cast your anxieties on him because he cares for you. In doing so you grow in Christ Jesus.

Dear Heavenly Father,
I know that you correct me because you love me. I will not get upset in correction. Help me to learn and grow from it. I humble myself before you.
