Even though you are temporarily harassed by all kinds of trials...This is no accident—it happens to prove your faith, which is infinitely more valuable than gold.

- 1 Peter 1:6-7

That fire in your belly. You know what I’m talking about. Maybe it was before a football game or dance routine in high school.

Is it butterflies or anxiety or just good ole’ passion?

Maybe that fire burns when you’re upset. Maybe you haven’t felt it in a while, but you need to.

When was the last time you got fired up?

I mean stress is on you, you’re worried, you feel you’re being attacked, you feel people are misrepresenting, harassing you or others.

Turn the other cheek in compassion, but I counter that it is also biblical to stand tall for what you believe.

Not quick to anger, but tall in your passion.

Jesus didn’t stand for misrepresentation, harassment or mockery of the Kingdom.

Stand tall and be brave in all you do.

The same four words I tell my kids every single day, “Be bold and brave.”

Knock over tables, move with force... my Hero did.

And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money changers, and the seats of them that sold doves, And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves. Matthew 21:12–13

And making a whip of cords, he drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and oxen. And he poured out the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables. And he told those who sold the pigeons, "Take these things away; do not make my Father's house a house of trade." John 2:13–16

Today: Will you watch or will you stand up?

Bless You,
