For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.
- Luke 7:8
The unbelievable longing of God never ceases.
Yet, we cave into worldly worry and stress every day.
We miss the whole point that our steps are indeed ordained.
We try and guide our own steps when the Creator of the universe has already plotted our steps for us.
So exhausting... yet it doesn’t have to be this way.
I walked with my son and our dog this morning. Just a stroll around the block at a nice leisurely pace.
The funny thing is we let “Sam the dog” lead us, at his pace and direction, without a worry, young Wayne and I just lost in conversation.
I let a dog lead my steps, but often times not the Lord. Jesus is waiting to walk with you, and to guide your steps.
The God of the Universe is longing for you to lose yourself in conversation with Him.
Today: Who will you choose to walk with?
Bless You,
Wayne McCullough
