Daily Devotional • 2 Corinthians 9:8 • Equipped by Grace

God is able to make all grace abound toward you, so that all things at all times, having all you need, you will abound in every good work.  - 2 Corinthians 9:8

God is able to make all grace abound toward you, so that all things at all times, having all you need, you will abound in every good work.

- 2 Corinthians 9:8

Did you know that God wants you to bless others just as He has blessed you?

When life becomes difficult, and our own trials burden us, sometimes, the best medicine for our souls is to think of someone else and meet their needs.

As we help others, pray for them, and give to them, we carry out God’s will!

God uses our trials, pain, and suffering to encourage and help others.

You will be able to relate genuinely to the person going through what you have already experienced.

Likewise, no one can understand or empathize with your pain like someone else who has walked through the same difficulties.

God has equipped each of us with unique skills, gifts, and experiences to accomplish His will.

Whatever He has called us to, He will empower us to do.

As you begin your day today, ask God if there is someone who could use your encouragement. Perhaps you could make them a meal, do a chore for them, or even sit and listen and pray for them.

Prayer: Dear Jesus, thank you for equipping me for every good work. Provide the words and strength I need to do your will today. Amen.

With Love,
Sherry Shepherd

God's grace isn't given in small portions. He supplies exactly what we need for the season we're in and the work He's called us to do. Before moving on with your day, take a few moments to reflect on where you've seen His provision and where He may be inviting you to trust Him more deeply.

Journal & Reflect

  • Where have I seen God's provision in my life recently?
  • What area of my life feels insufficient right now, and how can I surrender it to God?

Message from Kara

Sometimes it's easy to focus on what's missing or wonder if we're equipped for what's ahead. But one of the things I've learned over and over is that God never asks us to walk a path without providing the grace we need for it.

My prayer today is that you'll pause long enough to notice the ways He's already been faithful. May this verse remind you that His provision isn't limited by your circumstances, and His grace is greater than any challenge you're facing.

Cheering you on,
Kara 🤍
