My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
- Colossians 2:2-3
God is the ultimate source of wisdom and knowledge.
All around the world, people spend millions of dollars trying to understand the world around them and gain access to knowledge pertaining to the future.
But our God already has all the answers.
What you are looking for has been in front of you the whole time, offered as a free gift of deep relationship with the Creator Himself.
All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Him. Instead of drawing from the well of your own human understanding, draw from the well of God’s wondrous wisdom.
The only way to do this is by staying in close communication with Him.
Due to the finite nature of our human minds, we cannot comprehend everything in this broken world.
However, when we choose to keep our thoughts centered on God, His wisdom imparted through us will enable us to make sense and discern order of the world’s fragmented state.
At the same time, allow yourself room to accept the mysteries that come with knowing God so intimately… let it open up space in your heart for childlike wonder and worship!
There is so much more you have yet to experience and new heights that the Lord longs to take you. View His mysteries with excitement, and let it unite you with fellow believers in love for Him.
Today, look to the Lord for all your answers! His wisdom and revelation knowledge is waiting to be accessed by you, helping you in your time of need.
With Love,
Sarah Sherstad
As you reflect on Colossians 2:2–3, use your Personalized Scripture Journal to deepen your understanding of who Christ is and what it means to grow in Him.
Paul writes that in Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Spiritual growth is not about collecting information — it is about knowing Him more personally.
Write through these prompts:
What does spiritual maturity mean to me?
Do I seek wisdom primarily from the world or from Christ?
Where do I need clarity or direction right now?
How can I pursue deeper understanding of Jesus?
What habits strengthen my relationship with Him?
After reflecting, write a personal prayer:
Ask God to strengthen your heart.
Invite Him to reveal His wisdom.
Commit to seeking Christ above all else.
Your journal becomes a place where curiosity turns into closeness. The more you pursue Him intentionally, the more wisdom shapes your daily decisions.
Over time, you will see that knowing Christ is the true treasure.

Hello. Hope your doing well.. I never reach out to anyone. I’m temu struggling right now. My bank didn’t opt me out of overdraft as I requested and they told me they did. I had several bills but early that I pay every month two days after I get my check. I am over$300 dollars in the negative. By time I paid my bills and got me and my grandchildren food, I have nothing left. I wasn’t going to reach out but this huge tug on my heart. I couldn’t shake it. But if you knew of any place that will help me will you please let me know? I get my grandchildren every weekend I jus don’t know what to do. I got so discouraged, and when I got that nudge. Idk it gave my hope. I know none of that makes since but I felt something pushing me to. Well I guess I’ve written a book I’m so sorry. Well if anyone is reading this thank you for taking your time to. God bless u!
