Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.

- Ephesians 5:17 (ESV)

Since you are set apart from the world, refuse to live the way the world demands you live.

As sons or daughters of the most high God, we are called to be set apart as representatives of His kingdom. By seeking the Lord and understanding what His will is for us, we honor Him.

How many times have we jumped headfirst into something before seeking the Lord about it? How many times have we done or committed to something without consulting the Lord’s will?

By walking in the Spirit instead of the world, we actively seek out God’s will instead of submitting to the flesh or the will of the world.

“But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” Galatians 5:16 (ESV)

By being in tune with the Holy Spirit instead of the flesh, having confidence in what the Lord’s will is comes much easier.

Because you are called to be set apart, you carry the kingdom of God with you wherever you go.

When you walk into a room, Jesus is walking in there with you because you are a carrier of His presence!

Today, seek the Lord in what His will is for your daily life. He longs to be involved and included in your daily decisions! You can have peace and joy knowing that His will for you is the best there is!

“Lord, thank you for helping me to seek your will above the will of the world. As a carrier of your kingdom and presence, I desire to be in tune with Spirit so that I may influence those around me and point them to you!”

With Love,
Paper Sunday
