Daily Devotional • Hebrews 9:24 • Always in His Presence

Hebrews 9:24 reminds us that Jesus is in God’s presence on our behalf. Today’s devotional invites you to rest in the assurance that you are seen, known, and continually covered by His love.

For Christ did not enter into a holy place made with hands...but [He entered] into heaven itself, now to appear in the very presence of God on our behalf.

- Hebrews 9:24

Guilt is a liar.

It tells you to repent over and over for mistakes.

Guilt makes sure to remind you of where you have failed.

Guilt always has a bit (or a lot) of truth to it so it’s hard to push back on this bully!

But, here’s a better truth:

Jesus came down from the cross and humiliated the enemy and his hordes! He then went to heaven and made all petitions on our behalf before The Lord.

Your forgiveness is a finished work, you simply need to say yes to it.

Today
Guilt may be based on FACT but forgiveness is the TRUTH of who you are in Christ!

If anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous. He is the sacrifice that atones for our sins—and not only our sins but the sins of all the world. 1 John 2:1

With Love,
