Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.

One of the most difficult battles you will face in life is the battle within yourself.

It is the battle to overcome temptation.

Testing is from God. When you have a test and pass, the result is a testimony.

But temptation is of the devil.

To resist temptation, you must be fortified in God.

The devil cannot destroy someone who knows their identity in God.

• You are above and not below.
• You are the head and not the tail.
• You have dominion, power, and authority.
• You are fearfully and wonderfully made.

Know who you are in the Lord. The Bible says my people perish from lack of knowledge. Knowledge is power.

Father,
Help me to know who I am in you. Who I am in your eyes. When temptation arises, I know that I will resist and overcome it because of my identity in you. Thank you for your goodness.
