Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

There are times in our life that are dark, and we may feel as though we will never make it out.
Our situation is so desperate, it looks like death is closing in…
This is an incredible verse to store in your heart.
You may be in the valley of the shadow of death, but you are walking.
Not only are you walking, but the Lord is with you.
You will go through this valley, but God will be with you every step of the way. You have no reason to fear evil because His Presence is with you.
The Bible says that Jesus is the good Shepard, and we are his sheep.
A Shepard herds sheep with a rod and a staff. He leads them and protects them with it. The same is for us!
God is leading us and protecting us throughout our life. We will have trials, but we will overcome them, and He will comfort us through them.
Father, I know in life that we will have trials. I thank you for making a way and for leading me out. I will not fear evil because you are with me. Thank you for comforting me in the storm.

Thank you for this message and prayer. For the reminder that Jesus is the shepherd of our lives. He is always there….especially in the hard times and valleys. He helps us get through difficulties, through illness and unexpected circumstances. I am so thankful for His rod and His staff that spiritually guides me and comforts me and allows me to rest in green pastures and leads me through still waters. He restores my soul. Thank you Jesus! I have always loved that scripture. It’s such a good reminder that yes we will face challenges and adversity but God will never leave or forsake us. He has his loving arms around us lifting us up and protecting us. Thank you for this well written word. Glory to God!
