We live in a world where everyone wants to be right, even if that means causing division.

What do you really gain by being right? It is better to have peace than to be right.

Even when you know someone is wrong, in an effort to keep peace, don’t argue.

Our Father in heaven knows who is truly right and he examines our hearts. He is the final judge.

When you make an effort to keep peace in your home, your workplace, school, etc. you shall be called the children of God.

Having peace is better than being right. A soft answer deflects anger.

Father,
Help me to use wisdom. To know when to remain silent. Give me the Spirit of Counsel that I may remain in your peace. I remove pride and I humble myself to be a peacemaker for your kingdom.

Thank you for the strength to do so.
