As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.
- Psalm 103:13
Come to me today expecting good things!
My love and compassion for you are overflowing. I desire to lavish you with my blessings.
While you may have experienced love in unhealthy or hurtful ways, I am always good.
My character is unchangeable. So, my love for you is steadfast.
Draw near to me, and let me infuse your spirit with my abiding peace.
Sit quietly in my presence, remembering that I know everything.
I see everything happening to you, grieve with you over your hurt and pain, and rejoice with you over each accomplishment.
I am your heavenly Father who has unlimited resources.
So, as you come to me, shift your perspective from an earthly one to a heavenly one.
Prayer: Thank you, Jesus, for your incredible love and compassion. Thank you for loving me perfectly. Amen.
With Love,
Sherry Shepherd

Hello, Thank you Very much for this devotional! It has helped me today! I have a lot of scars from other relationships, and I also have a lot of disabilities, that can upset me and irritate me too. I need to remember to focus on eternity and Jesus, instead of my problems most of the time! I think that will help my emotional health in many ways!
