- Colossians 2:6-7 ESV

Having a relationship with Christ is the most important relationship you can ever have.

What is a relationship?

Prayer and Worship alone does not mean you have a relationship.

Genesis 1:26, Let us make man in our image and after our likeness.

Philippians 2:5-6, Let this mind be in you.

God wants you to have the mind of Christ. To be Christ-like.

God has never called his angels, sons.

The Bible reports that angels look like men. But, we know, God has never called them his sons.

Angels can be near God, but they are not his children.

They are His creation. They are messengers of God. Angel means messenger.

Only God’s children can have a relationship with God.

And, having the mind of Christ is how we do so. Walking in him. Being built up in him. Being rooted in him. Established in faith. With abounding thanksgiving.

That is what it looks like to be in relationship with God!

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you that you love me. You have called me unto yourself. I thank you for allowing me to walk with you and lean on you all the days of my life. Help me to have a deep, personal relationship with you. More than a friend.

In Jesus Name,
Amen.

With Love,
Corrin
