- Luke 15:20 (NIV)

The Father is always waiting for you with open arms.

Even when the son of the father in this verse had gone out to the world and wasted money on carnal pleasures and sinned greatly, his father still welcomed him back with overwhelming compassion.

This is the same type of love and compassion your heavenly Father harbors for you!

While each of us have earthly mothers and fathers, there is still nothing quite like the arms of our Heavenly Father.

Unlike humans, the arms of the Heavenly Father are wrapped around us each day.

Even if you were to be separated from your loved ones here on earth, your Heavenly Father would still be with you every second of every day.

His arms are the only arms that can instill hope in you when there seems to be none in the natural. His arms are the only arms that remain wide open for you in loving embrace even when others reject you.

TODAY: Whether you feel like the prodigal son who’s strayed and you feel unworthy to return, or you feel alone and fatherless, know that you’re heavenly Father is waiting for you right now in this moment. He does not look at you with scorn, but with love and compassion! Nothing in this world will ever separate or extinguish the great love He has for you.

Will you fall into His arms today?

“Heavenly Father, thank you for always opening your arms to me even when I mess up. Even when I feel alone and rejected by people here on earth, you are still there waiting for me in the secret place. Help me to never be afraid to fall into your arms!”

With Love,
Paper Sunday
