We serve a generous God who loves to refresh us.

In the pursuit of being more like Him, He also wants us to be generous and refreshing to others around us.

Think of the days where you’ve sacrificed some of your time to volunteer at church, help a friend move, make dinner for a group, pray with a neighbor, or even sit with someone grieving over a loss.

When you see the impact of your generosity and the smiles on the faces of people you’ve helped, it sparks joy and refreshment in you as well!

No matter how old or young you are, God has instilled within you gifts, skills, and talents to help refresh those around you.

You may have experienced things in your past and gained life lessons, great insight and wisdom. Those in turn can be such a valuable gift to share with others.

When you choose to allow God to generously work through you in the gifts He’s given and the wisdom you’ve gained, you can be a godly influence and inspire others.

As a result, you also end up inspiring yourself and feeling invigorated knowing you have allowed God to work through you!

Today, how can you be a generous refreshment to others? Be refreshed knowing the Lord delights in you because you have displayed His generosity and compassion.

“Lord, may I be a generous refreshment to those around me and a vessel for your glory. No matter my age, I know I can also be inspired and refreshed when I allow you to work through me for others.”
