Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases…

- Psalm 103:2-3 KJV

There are benefits to being a child of God.

The first benefit listed here is God forgives all our iniquities.

Iniquity is a hidden sin that only you and God know about. God doesn’t reward us after our iniquities. He grants us mercy and grace.

Apostle Paul’s iniquity was a “thorn in his flesh” but the Lord God said, “My grace is sufficient for you.”

When you place these things at Jesus’ feet, you surrender to him.

You tell him I can’t do this on my own, but you can. You allow the Lord to be made strong when you are weak.

When you lean on him, his mercy and grace abound the more and we are forgiven.

Lord,
Thank you for your word. I thank you for not dealing with us according to our iniquities. Father, remove them from us, be it known or unknown. Purify our intentions. Help us to walk uprightly before you.
In Jesus Name,
Amen.
