O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon His name: make known His deeds among the people.
- Psalm 105:1
This verse is also found in Isaiah 12:4 and 1 Chronicles 16:8.
Three separate people; one a Prophet, one a King and one anonymous.
Somewhere between the three you could say we sit as well.
I find myself giving praise at the grocery checkout when I stay under budget. The clerk, though different every time, acknowledges it in some way.
I make this small little deed known that it's because of the Lord and not of my own doing.
I find myself doing this fluently, everywhere.
- Getting home safely.
- To do list accomplished.
- Being late, but still arriving.
- Messes, and attitudes.
Your days are filled with acts done and fulfilled because of the Lord – because of His mercy and grace and His great love for you. His love is found in the most minuscule of acts. We can find Him in our daily chores if we will stop and look.
Stop and Give Praise.
And then…make it known and share it!
What are some ways that you make his deeds known to those around you? Let us encourage one another.
With Love,
Sierra
