Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
- Psalm 51:10 (NIV)
Spring is coming and there are many signs of renewal and joy being shown to us in the smallest, seemingly insignificant ways.
We are called to become more aware as Christians to these changes.
The way the birds sing, the ants making their way to the surface of the earth and the new blooms on our trees.
The return of longer days and more sunlight for many has a physiological impact and a deep emotional response.
I am certain that He created that on purpose!
His breath is all around us, and I do not know about you friend, but I do not want to miss a thing.
How do we soak up all that God is gifting to us in the season of renewal in nature?
We first must acknowledge how well thought out, how intentional and how amazing it is to be renewed in the middle of his creation.
The way the bees work, the way the sunshine impacts the birds and their flight and even our own body is meant to match the rhythm of nature.
Reflect today friend - meditate on the verses below and ask God to reveal to you how He is speaking, breathing, and wrapping you in renewal and connectedness that is all your own.
Questions:
• How is my life a set of rhythms?
• What is existing in me that needs to be surrendered for renewal?
• How can my connection to nature shape my relationship with God?
With Love,
Audri Marie
