Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

We live in this world, but we are not of it.

When we become born again believers, the Bible says we are born from above. To “not be conformed to this world” takes the renewing of our mind. It’s a mindset and a shift in perspective!

In order to have that Kingdom mindset, the Bible tells us we must guard our thoughts.

Reading the word and allowing God’s word to permeate your Spirit will help renew your mind, guard your thoughts and stay grounded in Kingdom thinking.

In every area of life we can respond to the world’s perspective with the living word of God:

The world tells you you’re poor.
God’s word• Let the poor say I am rich.

The world says you’re weak.
God’s word• Let the weak say I am strong.

The world says you are crazy.
God’s word• I have given you a sound mind.

Renew your mind by replacing what the world says with God’s word.

Father,
I thank you for your word. I thank you that your word says I am above and not below. I am the head and not the tail. I have dominion, power, and authority. I will replace what the world says about me with your word. I am transformed by the renewing of my mind.
