The Lord loves to talk with you!

When you hear the Lord beckoning, do you come running to Him?

God longs to spend time with us more than we realize.

Time away in the Secret Place with Him is vital to our relationship with Him and the state of our joy, peace and strength.

The Lord longs for us to talk to Him with full openness. He longs for us to share our hearts with Him like we would with a close friend.

When we talk with the Lord, we don’t need to approach Him with religious pretense or feel as though we must perform a certain way to be able to talk to Him. He is always waiting for us with open arms, eager to speak to us!

While quiet and secluded time away with the Lord is vital, we mustn't forget that He also loves to commune with us anywhere… at any time. The more we talk to Him and practice being sensitive to His voice, the stronger your love-bond with Him becomes.

As you go through today, challenge yourself to start talking to the Lord in the basic activities of your life.

Talk to Him in the car.
Speak with Him as you shop at the grocery store.
Ask Him questions you’re curious about.
What are some things you’d like to know about Him?

Just like us, God has a vibrant personality, and a sense of humor!

And more often than not, He longs to share these things with us!

How amazing is it that the God of the universe longs to be so close with us?

So no matter where we are, whenever we feel Him tugging at our hearts to speak with us, we can reply saying, “Lord I am coming!”
