Therefore, if you are in Christ, you are a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Ever feel unworthy to have God in your life? This is a common response many of us have when we first start walking with the Lord.

Some of us who have been walking with Him longer still feel like this sometimes!

However, we don’t have to strive or worry about being “good enough” for the Lord to live inside us. The truth is, He’s very used to moving in and living inside humble abodes such as us.

When we invite Him into our hearts, He doesn’t plan on leaving. He will stay there permanently, even when we mess up. He wants to renovate your whole heart from the inside out.

This is not always a pleasant process, and can actually be quite painful at times. The more we yield to His transformation in us, the more we grow into the masterpiece He created us to be!

Rejoice in the amazing fact that He lives in you, and you are a new creation in Him.

The old you and your past have been cast off into the sea of forgetfulness, leaving room for God’s light to shine through your new being.
