Carolyn Joe Daniel
Carolyn Joe is known for her vibrant playful paintings, seeking and finding the “messy joy” of everyday life in Dallas, Texas.
Carolyn earned a BA in Studio Art and Art History from Wake Forest University and was fortunate to experience art while working in galleries in Sydney, Australia. Travel and outdoor adventure are her favorite sources of inspiration.
Carolyn’s art has been licensed and adapted to an array of products from athleisure wear, rain boots, sports bottles, culinary packaging to large scale wallpaper for hospitality and commercial spaces, and NFTs. Carolyn paints from her home studio in Lakewood, alongside two mini muses, two studio pups & two bearded dragons.
Carolyn recently exhibited her NFT art in Times Square on a 30story digital display as part of the world’s largest public art fair for NFTs, and again on a hundred digital screens across downtown Miami during Art Basel. Locally, Carolyn’s mural work has been featured in Uptown Dallas on the Katy Trail, as a part of the Deep Ellum Foundation’s art banner program throughout Dallas’ Deep Ellum, and as a special exhibition supporting women's causes at Galleria Dallas. Carolyn's art can be found at Maestri Gallery in Dallas and at her website, Carolyn Joe Art.
“Painting has been a colorful ribbon, 25 years in the making, tying together my most cherished memories.”
