It is for freedom that Christ has set you free.
- Galatians 5:1
We are free!
We don’t have to wallow in the guilt and shame of our past. God has already freed us from it.
When we fail to recognize our freedom, we may miss the opportunity to minister to others around us, who are hurting, because we are inward focused.
As we approach each day as a free person, we can see others’ needs better.
Do you appreciate your freedom and all that Jesus did for you on the cross?
If you have accepted His sacrificial gift as payment for your sin, then why would you continue to look back at what has already been forgiven?
Today, thank God for His incredible gift, Jesus and the freedom He has given us. Let go of past burdens, shifting your gaze from your shortcomings and faults, to God’s unending grace and mercy.
With Love,
Paper Sunday

Pray for me as I continue to seek God’s Love for freedom. I realize that some things you will ever understand. Just trust God’s will and his way. He knows what He’s doing

So True!! This is exactly what I have been learning and in my current book “Don’t Give the Enemy A Seat At Your Table” Louie talks about this.
John 10 and Psalm 23 both state that we are not “JUST” sinners saved by grace. We don’t stay there! We are free and it is a constant journey and battle! Thanks for sending this devotion on this day! Just re – affirms things for me:) Blessings!!!!
