Trust only in God every moment! Tell him all your troubles and pour out your heart-longings to him. Believe me when I tell you—he will help you!

The Lord is your rock and shield.

He is your protector and safe place of refuge.

Some days you are more aware of your need for Him, and others you sleep-walk through your day without realizing how much you need His protection.

Regardless, He is always close-by and watching over you whether you notice it or not.

Did you know God delights in protecting you? He is not passive in His watch-care, no. His spirit constantly hovers over you like a shield, waiting for you to call out to Him.

One of the best ways to take refuge in the Lord is to pour out your heart to Him. Tell Him everything that troubles you and lay it at His feet.

But do not forget to tell Him the good things either. He wants to hear about your joy and the things you're thankful for. Do not hesitate or withhold anything in this process, because He already knows everything anyway.

But by consistently stepping into His presence and pouring out our heart, it exercises our spiritual trust muscles!

When you have deep trust in someone, you feel comfortable telling them details about your life, the good, the bad, AND the ugly. You feel safe with them. The Lord wants the same kind of relationship trust with you. He wants to hear from you. He wants to hear your voice. He also wants to share things with you too!

If there’s something you’ve been bottling up, then now is the time to pour it out at His feet. Rest assured that He will tenderly take care of whatever you reveal to Him.

As you go through your day, remember He is constantly with you, watching over you in protective care. You can walk in confidence, knowing that He is your rock and shield in all circumstances!
