But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold.

- Job 23:10

God knows every situation you are experiencing.

He understands every emotion, intricate detail, and thought you have. Absolutely nothing gets past Him.

But, do you ever wonder why God is taking so long to answer your prayers? Do you question His goodness or love when He is silent?

We all have times in life when we want the question “Why God” answered. But we can’t know or see everything God knows and sees. God has no blind side. He knows our past, present, and future.

If you knew without a doubt that God was working every single thing for your good, how would you think and act?

Would you take each situation as God’s best for you?

Or would you clench your fists and complain, questioning Him and His goodness?

The truth of the matter is that God does know every single thing going on in your life and heart. He knows all about your situation, your hurt, and your pain. He not only knows it, but He also has a purpose for it.

And, He promises that you will come forth as gold!

His Word tells us that we will be as gold because the testing of our faith is purifying. As we go through the fire, the things in our lives that need refining are burned away, helping us to be more like Jesus.

These trials cause us to grow deeper in our trust in God. So, can you give Jesus your fears today? Can you release to Him your present situation?

Prayer: Dear Jesus, please help me trust and believe in you despite my tendency to question you. Please help me not to question your perfect plan for my life. Amen.

With Love,
Sherry Shepherd
