The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
- Lamentations 3:22-23
God’s promises are ours to claim!
He left His Word for us to read, so we can know and believe in Him.
One of His greatest promises is His protection and deliverance for those who love Him and call on Him.
The Scriptures are packed with descriptions of God’s love and power to save His people.
They instruct us to seek Him first to secure and direct our path. When life attacks with struggles, daily living, and unplanned emergencies, we must speak God’s promises to ourselves and back to Him.
Remembering His Words encourages our weary hearts. It provides hope during desperate times!
Most importantly, it reminds us that God’s great love is for us. His great power is available to us. Knowing the truths in God’s Word strengthens our hearts for the journey ahead because we know He is mighty to save.
Today as you plan how to use the time God has given you, remember that while the love of people in our lives may wane, God’s love does not. It is steadfast. It never stops, and it never wavers. His mercies never come to an end. What can you thank Him for this morning? Throughout your day, note things you are grateful for and thank Him.
Prayer: Thank you, Lord, that no matter what I face today, you are with me, and you love me. Thank you for making way for me to be your child. Please help me to be bold in sharing you with others. Amen.
With Love,
Sherry Shepherd
