Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven—for she loved much. But he who is forgiven little, loves little.
- Luke 7:47
Those who are forgiven much, love much.
What a beautiful truth that the Lord Jesus gave to us. Our sins are never too many to receive forgiveness.
The greater the sins, the greater the forgiveness.
Knowing that when we are in Christ Jesus we are not condemned. God created us knowing our flaws and struggles. He only asked that we give them to him. Then the Lord would give us back his grace and mercy.
How wonderful is that?
We serve a gracious and merciful God who doesn’t reward us according to our iniquities.
He separates it from us as far as the East is to the West.
When we receive that mercy, it causes us to give it to others. We know that if the Lord can forgive us on our darkest day we can do the same for someone else!
Dear Heavenly Father,
Help me to be more like you. Allow me to be merciful and gracious to those in error. I know that when I error you are merciful to me. Help me to remain humble in that knowledge knowing I can make a mistake. Help me to have a heart that forgives and has empathy towards others.
In Jesus Name,
Amen.
With Love,
Corrin Hallett

Thank you for this message Corrin! God is so full of mercy and grace when we don’t even deserve it, but that’s the kind of forgiving God we serve!
