Most of us have gone through seasons when a friendship came to an end.

Whether a person wronged us or we simply grew apart, it can feel lonely.

Thankfully, there is an eternal friend unlike any other who promises to never leave us.

This precious friendship is nothing you can earn or work for. It is something already given to you freely.

Because God is your eternal lover, He is also your eternal friend. He is nearer than you dare to believe, closer than the air inside your lungs.

His unseen presence is constantly present, we just don't always embrace it or recognize it.

How less lonely we would feel if we were more aware of Him!

“I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!” (Hebrews 13:5 AMP)

God is the friend you have been waiting for!

• He is the friend whom you can trust with your deepest secrets.
• He is the friend you can call and lean upon at any moment.
• He is your permanent partner not only in this life, but beyond the veil and into eternity.
