Sarah Sherstad Bio

Sarah Sherstad is a writer, poet, storyteller, pastor's kid, bookworm, pop-culture nerd and lover of Jesus. Her love for writing started early as a child, spending hours composing her own stories and characters thanks to an overly active imagination. 

As she grew in her love for God, she became increasingly passionate about using her writing to be a lighthouse of His glory and be a walking portal of His love. She longs to be able to share with others the life-giving freedom that comes with having an intimate relationship with Him and experiencing how loved they really are by their Heavenly Father. 

 Sarah is the author of the book, Songs of The Secret Place, and the creator behind  Authored By Fire, a virtual archive of her written works as well as blog posts meant to encourage others in their walk with the Lord. 

When she’s not writing, you’ll find her with a good book or brainstorming her next story idea with some music playing in her ear.
