A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls.

It is so important to manage your spirit, body, and soul.

If one of those doesn’t have control, then the others aren’t in control either.

If your spiritual condition is compromised, then your physical condition could be out of sync, also. Our spirits were designed to govern our body and soul.

The world teaches us that we are a body with a soul and a spirit.

I see it as a spirit with a body and soul.

Prioritize your spiritual life.

Spend time with the Lord reading his word and in prayer. Grow a personal relationship with him. The Bible tells us to grow in grace.

The law of the spirit gives us life! Live a life of righteousness.

In doing so, you respond to all situations using God’s word.

You don’t react out of anger or fear. God’s perfect love casts out fear. Perfect love only comes from God. Develop a strong prayer life. Lean on God.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Anywhere I have neglected self-control give me mercy and grace. Help me to build up my spirit to govern over my soul and body. Structure me to live a life pleasing to you.
