- Isaiah 41:10

Did you know that we are told not to fear 365 times in the Bible?

That is one time for every day of the year!

Perhaps it is because God knew how easily we worry and fear what we cannot control. But unfortunately, human nature is prone to do the exact opposite of what God's Word tells us to do.

However, when we trust God, believing that He works everything for our best, we can have peace of mind amid our fears.

As believers, everything we face is sifted through God's hands. Therefore, we have nothing to fear as long as we walk in His will.

While we may not understand why something is happening, we can have faith because God sees every detail. When we feel prone to worry, He wants us to come to Him and talk it out.

How then should we pray?

Prayer is more than just laying our requests before God. It is the daily conversation of talking to Jesus and expressing what is in our hearts. Then, when we offer our concerns to God, He will lead us deeper into a relationship with Him and His loving care.

Prayer: Lord, please help me slow down today and listen to you. Could you allow me to rest in your presence?

With Love,
Sherry Shepherd
