Your way, God, is holy; What god is great like our God? You are the God who works wonders; You have made known Your strength among the peoples.
- Psalm 77:13-14
Praise dependence.
There is a lesson to be learned in every circumstance, and my difficult circumstances have consistently taught me one thing. Praising God reminds me that I depend on Him.
When I praise for what He has brought me through, I see His provision, love and care. I see His consistent presence. I see His mercy and grace in action in my life.
When I praise Him in the midst of hard times, I feel His comfort. I become very aware of how He strengthens and sustains me.
Praising God is an act of dependence. God doesn’t need our praise to be God. We need to give our praise Him so that we remember He is God, and we are not.
So as you go forward with your day and week, offer up praises to God and thank Him for being the only one you can truly depend on for everything! Because that is exactly who He is!
With Love,
Janay
