So be made strong even in your weakness, by lifting up your tired hands in prayer and worship. And strengthen your weak knees, for as you keep walking forward on God’s paths all your stumbling ways will be divinely healed!

- Hebrews 12:12-13

Whenever we feel tired, weary and weak, sometimes the last thing we want to do is give a shout of praise.

Our flesh would much rather lay down in surrender, while the enemy kicks us in the ribs.

However, our praise is a weapon against the enemy!

It is in the times of weakness and difficulty where giving God praise and worship is vital.

The enemy will try to silence your praise and worship, but chains are broken and bondages are set loose whenever you choose to open your mouth and exalt God’s name!

As you keep walking forward on God’s path, praising His name will come easier to you, even when you feel weary.

Magnifying the King of Kings in worship and thanksgiving allows you to step into His presence, and receive your breakthrough!

All weariness, heartbreak, and heaviness will have no choice but to be lifted off, as you are made whole and refreshed in His life-giving presence.

So I say to my soul, “Don’t be discouraged. Don’t be disturbed. For I know my God will break through for me.” Then I’ll have plenty of reasons to praise him all over again. Yes, he is my saving grace! (Psalm 42:11)

The next time you feel overcome with weakness, understand that you are not waiting for your breakthrough, your breakthrough is waiting for you.

How do you get there? By praising His glorious name!

With Love,
Sarah Sherstad
