Storms are inevitable. Life brings unexpected disappointments, losses, and uncertainties that threaten to pull us away from peace. Most of the time, these storms are announced and hit us like a rogue wave.

It's easy to believe God has a plan when life unfolds the way we imagined. It's much harder when dreams are delayed or doors unexpectedly close. As a single, divorced woman, life is challenging. This path is not one I chose or envisioned for myself, and yet, here I am. However, as I look back over the last years, I have seen God provide for me when I didn’t see a way forward. He has cared for me and met my needs all along the way. While my wants, dreams or desires in life may not be the way I would like, I know He has a plan for my life.

This promise reminds us that God sees what we cannot. His perspective stretches beyond today's disappointments into tomorrow's purpose. Even when life feels uncertain, His plans remain steady and good. We can trust that what might be a mess here on earth, will one day be put right in and through Him.

Sometimes God's greatest work happens behind the scenes. While we are waiting for answers, He is preparing our hearts, opening unseen doors, and orchestrating circumstances for our good. Hope grows when we remember that our future isn't determined by our current situation, but by the God who we can fully trust.

Prayer: God, thank You that my future is secure in Your hands. Help me trust Your plans even when I cannot understand them. Give me confidence that You are working all things together for good and strengthen my hope each day. Amen.
