Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.  - Psalm 23:4 KJV

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

- Psalm 23:4 KJV

There are seasons in our life that are dark. We feel as though we will never make it out, and our situations can feel desperate or hopeless.

This is an incredible verse to store in your heart!

You may be in the valley of the shadow of death, but you are walking. Not only are you walking, but the Lord is with you.

You will go through this valley, but God will be with you every step of the way.

You have no reason to fear evil because His Presence is with you.

The Bible says that Jesus is the good Shepherd and we are his sheep. A Shepherd herds sheep with a rod and a staff. He leads them and protects them with it. The same is true for us.

God is leading us and protecting us throughout our life. We will have trials, but they do not last forever and we will overcome them. And through it all, He will comfort us!

Father,
I know in life that we will have trials. I thank you that you have made a way and are leading me out. I won’t fear evil because you are with me. Thank you for comforting me in the storm.
In Jesus Name,
Amen

With Love,
Corrin Hallett
