He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
- Isaiah 40:29
God does not expect us to navigate heavy seasons alone. It’s okay to go to God in our darkness, but there is a day coming of a great and beautiful eternity. A time when there is no suffering, no pain, no heartache or loneliness.
Some changes feel exciting. Others feel heavy. They weigh on our hearts, drain our energy, and challenge our endurance. However, Jesus tells us to come to Him when we are burdened and heavy laden and He will give us rest. (Matthew 11:28).
When life feels overwhelming, it is okay to admit weakness. Strength in God’s Kingdom does not come from pushing harder, it comes from leaning deeper. God meets us in our exhaustion, offering rest, renewal, and quiet reassurance that we are not failing by feeling tired. Rather, He gives us great power and grace to proclaim Him to others. In our weakness, He is strong. (2 Corinthians 12:9). So often, Scripture is the opposite of what we think and do as humans. God’s ways are not our ways. But they are good and pure.
Heavy change often forces us to slow down and reassess what truly matters. It invites us to simplify, to release unnecessary burdens, and to receive help. God uses these moments to teach us dependence, humility, and grace. God is always concerned about our hearts and our relationship with Him. You can go to Him with what is draining you and remember the storm reshapes the structure of our heart. Have you ever observed the waves as they come and go on a beach. The ocean brings new shells and fish to the shoreline, and it carries out debris left on the beach. God does the same for us. He removes the trash from our lives and brings beauty and blessings.
Today, ask yourself, what am I carrying that God never asked me to hold? Where do I need rest instead of resolve? Then, consciously lay those burdens at God’s feet.
Strength returns gradually. Not all at once, but day by day. As we rest in God’s presence, we find that what once felt unbearable becomes manageable, and what once felt hopeless becomes lighter. While our circumstances may change. God does not. There is joy in that!
Prayer: God, I feel tired and worn. I need Your strength today. Help me release what I was never meant to carry and rest in Your care. Renew my spirit and remind me that You are holding me steady. Amen.
With Love,

Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for being my strength when I have none left to give. When change feels overwhelming and my heart grows weary, remind me that I don't have to carry every burden alone. Renew my spirit, strengthen my faith, and help me rest in Your unfailing love. Fill me with the peace that comes from trusting You one day at a time, and let Your strength carry me through every season.
In Jesus' name,
Amen
Message from Kara
We all go through seasons that leave us feeling tired—not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually too. I've learned that those are often the moments when God gently reminds me that His strength was never meant to be a last resort. It has always been the source I'm invited to rely on.
Isaiah 40:29 has encouraged me more times than I can count because it reminds me that God doesn't expect us to have it all together. He simply asks us to come to Him with our weariness, trusting that He will provide exactly what we need.
My prayer is that today you would lay down every burden you've been carrying and allow God to renew your heart. He is faithful, He is near, and His strength will sustain you through every season.
With love ,
Kara 🤍
