Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
- Hebrews 11:1
Faith thrives not in certainty, but in trust. Trust is the ignition to start the car. When we pray believing it is like punching the gas on the accelerator of the car. God delights in our prayers. He loves to hear from His children. The same hope that the Apostles had is available to us today.
God often leads us into the unknown not to confuse us, but to draw us closer to Him. When we can no longer rely on our plans, we learn to rely on His presence.
The unknown becomes holy ground where trust deepens and faith matures. We discover that God is enough, even when the path is unclear. The unknown invites us to slow down. To listen. To pray. To take one step at a time instead of demanding the whole map. Sometimes, God is calling us to just take the next best step. He is already there waiting for us. And God rarely reveals everything at once because He wants relationship, not independence. Each step forward becomes an act of faith.
We spend so much energy trying to predict outcomes. Instead, ask yourself: What am I trying to control right now? What would it look like to trust God with just today? Faith is practiced in the present moment. There is freedom and peace in trusting God in the here and now.
When we embrace the unknown with faith, fear loosens its grip. We begin to realize that while the future is uncertain, God’s character is not. He is faithful, loving, and always present with us.
Prayer: Jesus, help me trust You in the unknown. When I feel anxious or afraid, remind me that You are with me now and waiting for me in the future. Teach me to walk by faith, not by sight, and to rest in Your constant presence. Amen.

Faith grows when we bring our questions honestly before God instead of carrying them alone. As you pause to journal today, invite Him into the places where the future feels uncertain. Let these moments become a conversation of trust, where your fears are replaced with confidence in His faithful promises.
Journal & Reflect
- What area of my life feels uncertain right now?
- What promise from God's Word gives me hope as I wait?
- How has God proven faithful during previous seasons when I couldn't see the outcome?

Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for being faithful even when I cannot see what lies ahead. Help me trust Your promises more than my fears and Your presence more than my circumstances. Strengthen my faith when uncertainty feels overwhelming, and give me courage to take each step knowing You are already there. Thank You for leading me with wisdom, love, and perfect timing.
In Jesus' name,
Amen
Message from Kara
If you're in a season where you can't quite see what's next, you're not alone. Some of the most meaningful chapters of my own faith began with unanswered questions and uncertain steps. Looking back, I can see that God was never asking me to have all the answers—He was simply inviting me to trust Him.
Hebrews 11:1 reminds us that faith isn't about having perfect certainty. It's about believing that God's promises are true, even when we can't yet see how everything will unfold.
My prayer is that today's devotional gives you the courage to keep moving forward, one faithful step at a time. The same God who has been faithful in your past is already preparing the path ahead.
With love,
Kara 🤍
