Daily Devotional • Isaiah 40:31

But they who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.  - Isaiah 40:31

But they who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

- Isaiah 40:31

Disappointment. Doubt. Anger. Grief. Despair. Confusion. Trauma.

Something that just feels so unforgiveable or just so impossible.

Cast your cares on Him and don’t let go of God’s hand.

Press into him and find respite in the shelter of the Almighty.

He can carry the weight of what has you heavy burdened. He can do immeasurably more than you can ask or even imagine.

Keep pressing in and holding on to Him and let Him carry you through the process of your pain.

Through your pain he will give you a new perspective. A new perspective opens your eyes to see the hope he has called you to, and the revelation of His purpose in exchange for your pain.

He promises to strengthen you through the process and work all things for the good of those who trust in Him in the waiting according to His will.

And in the waiting, you will seek, and believe and receive.

There is peace and possibility in the waiting in Jesus!

Lord, your word says that my steps are guided and counted by you. I position myself with open arms, surrendering the longings of my heart as well as the fears that hover over me. Help me, Holy Spirit to remain steadfast in my faith and firm in my position of trust in you. I believe Lord that my time of weeping will turn to shouts of joy, therefore I will not be afraid for you Oh God take hold of me. Amen

With Love,
Jasmine
