The Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

– John 14:26-27

Peace is something deeply sought after by just about everyone.

Life is full of fast-paced assignments, twists, turns, curveballs and potholes.

Sometimes it may feel like we’ve caught up, but then we see another wave peaking over the horizon. Thank the Lord we have access to His supernatural peace!

This supernatural peace is unlike the world’s version and understanding of peace. The peace of Jesus is a peace that transcends circumstances and even our own human understanding! Understanding and having it all figured out is not a requirement for the peace of Jesus.

What’s even better is that this peace is a free gift to all of God’s children.

In order to keep and maintain this precious peace, we must stay in close communion with the Prince of Peace Himself, Jesus. The enemy, Satan, is always prowling around trying to steal people’s peace and fill them with fear. Thankfully, we have the truth of God’s word to fight back against the enemy's lies!

Are you in need of His peace today?

He wants you to receive it in full measure, and it is given to you freely! Unlike the world’s peace, His peace is the only peace that is everlasting and will endure throughout every trial and circumstance of life!

Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank you for your divine peace that transcends my own understanding! Help me to receive this peace in full measure right now as I walk with you today. I know that no matter what challenges come my way, you are with me.

With Love,
Sarah Sherstad

Message from Kara

One of the things I find myself praying most often is for God's peace—not because life is always calm, but because His peace is different from anything the world can offer.

I love that Jesus didn't promise a life without challenges. Instead, He promised His presence and the Holy Spirit to remind us that we never face those challenges alone.

If your heart feels unsettled today, I hope you'll pause long enough to remember that His peace is already available to you. You don't have to earn it or chase it—you simply receive it as you trust Him.

May His peace guard your heart and mind today.

Cheering you on,
Kara
